Our story starts many decades ago when a young migrant mother arrived in Australia. She wanted to keep working and create something that she could be proud off, at the time she had two small children and a passion for textiles. She could only work for a few hours because of family commitments. With a small suitcase in hand and limited English she went from shop to shop showing her collection of exotic textiles. Soon enough the best boutiques in the country wanted these textiles and what followed in the years to come was a fairytale business success. She could be with her children as well as follow her passion of running a textile business
Colour Cocoon was born to take this collection of exquisite scarves, stoles and shawls, made from the finest materials, beyond the shores of Australia.
The textiles are made from fabrics ranging from pure silk, pure wool to beautiful blends. Each has been designed and handpicked, creating a collection of shawls and scarves unlike any other brand.
It is her hope and dream to share the warmth and special feeling of wearing one of her scarves with the world.
